About us
Whether you are an expatriate or you are from another place, when you move to a new city, it is often very difficult to meet new people.
The BlaBla Language Exchange community was born above all to meet this need to get in touch with new people, to create new links.
Since 2016, Our BlaBla Language Exchange community has been offering language events in over 90 cities around the world.
With more than 150 volunteers spread over five continents, our missions are:
- Allow meetings between people from a same country, or between expatriate and local populations, in a friendly atmosphere.
- Allow participants to progress in foreign languages by speaking with native people.
1. Meetings: The need to create new relationships in search of well-being.
- Thanks to the linguistic aspect of our events, we help, in a positive way, the expatriate populations to integrate well in their country of residence. For example, an expatriate who does not speak the local language, will be able to meet people who speak English, and will thus be able to begin to create a network, to see a circle of friends.
- In addition to being very important for expatriate populations, our events also attract a lot of locals, for the same reasons as mentioned above: Meet new people, create a network, a circle of friends.
Note: Most of the participants come alone, which means that many people want to create new links (personal or professional).
By bringing together expatriate and local populations in an international atmosphere, we also contribute to a good mix of cultures, and to a positive integration of expatriate populations.
2. Meetings: The need to create new relationships in search of well-being.
- Thanks to the linguistic aspect of our events, we help, in a positive way, the expatriate populations to integrate well in their country of residence. - We do not accept to share advertisements, expected if there is a direct link with the language domain
- We limit the number of publications from our partners to twice a month.
We agree to share external links only when we post to our networks, and provided that there is also a link to our posts.
For example, we agree to share the links and logos of our sponsors, our photographers, our videographers, our webmasters, cafes and / or bars that welcome us, companies that create media content for us, etc ...
