BlaBla Language Exchange organizes social, networking, and cultural events worldwide. These Terms and Conditions apply to all participants and are designed to clarify expectations, ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone, and protect our organization’s interests.

By registering for or attending any of our events, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree, we kindly ask you not to attend.

2. Registration Conditions

  • Event Types: Some of our events are free, while others require a fee. Any pricing information will be clearly displayed on our website or event page.

  • Sign-Up Requirement: Some events require prior registration. Walk-ins may not be accepted if the event is full.

  • Refund Policy: Payments are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by us. No-shows and last-minute cancellations are not eligible for refunds.

3. Participant Responsibilities

  • To maintain a friendly, inclusive, and respectful environment, all participants must adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Respect Others: Treat all attendees, organizers, and venue staff with kindness and respect. Discrimination, harassment, or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.

  • Follow Venue Rules: Each venue has its own policies, including dress code, noise levels, and consumption of food and drinks. Please respect these rules.

  • Personal Belongings: You are responsible for your personal items. BlaBla Language Exchange is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged belongings.

  • Health & Safety: If you feel unwell, please refrain from attending the event. You attend at your own risk and should take necessary precautions.

  • Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in removal from the event and/or a permanent ban from future events.

4. Payment and Pricing

  • Pricing Structure: Paid events have a fixed fee, which will be indicated on the registration page.

  • Payment Methods: Payments are accepted online through our website or at the venue, depending on the event.

  • Additional Costs: While some events are free, attendees must purchase at least one drink or meal at partner venues. This is a requirement to support the businesses that host us.

  • Refunds & Cancellations: No refunds will be issued unless we cancel the event.

5. Image Rights & Media Usage

  • To help grow our community and promote our events, we take photos and videos during our gatherings. By attending, you agree to the following:

  • Consent to Photography & Filming: You may be photographed or filmed at the event. These images may be used on our website, social media, and promotional materials.

  • No Opt-Out for Group Photos: If you do not wish to be in pictures, you may step aside or volunteer to take photos instead. However, we cannot guarantee that you won’t appear in the background.

  • Use of Content: Any photos or videos you take at our events may be shared online, but they should align with our community values.

  • Participants who refuse photography but encourage others to do the same may be permanently banned from our events.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Attending at Your Own Risk: BlaBla Language Exchange is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or damages that occur during our events.

  • No Legal Liability: We do not accept liability for any conflicts, damages, or disputes between participants.

  • Respect Public & Private Property: If you break something at a venue, you are responsible for covering the costs.

  • By participating in our events, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own actions and safety.
